Serial Bomb Blast : 2 explosions back to back in Udhampur, Jammu and Kashmir

Serial Bomb Blast : Within eight hours, there were two bus blasts in Udhampur, Jammu and Kashmir. The first explosion happened on Wednesday night at approximately 10.30 p.m. in an empty bus that was parked next to a gas station in Domel Chowk. The second explosion happened inside an empty bus that was parked at the bus stop at 6 am on Thursday.

Two people were hurt in the Serial bomb blast explosion, according to the information, and they have been taken to the local hospital. The second explosion did not cause any injuries. The Udhampur Police and other agencies have arrived and are looking into the situation.

Blast before Minister Amit Shah’s visit

Union Home Minister Amit Shah will visit Jammu and Kashmir on 3 October. On October 4 and 5, he will give speeches at rallies in Rajouri and Baramulla for the first time since Kashmir’s Article 370 was repealed. There was an unsuccessful attempt to shake Kashmir and spread terror prior to this visit.

Amit Shah will arrive in Jammu on the evening of October 3 and will hold a meeting with the local party officials, according to Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) officials who were providing information about the Union Home Minister’s schedule. He will visit Raghunath temple the following day. The same day, he will speak at a BJP rally in Rajouri before departing late that night for Srinagar. Shah will then speak at a second party rally on October 5 at 10 a.m. in Baramulla.

Minister Amit Shah will address a rally outside Srinagar for the first time. According to reports, earlier he was to reach Jammu on a three-day visit to the Union Territory on 30 September and hold public meetings in Rajouri on 1 October and Baramulla on 2 October. Jammu and Kashmir BJP President Ravinder Raina has informed about the changes in the program.

After these blasts, security has been increased on the National Highway including Udhampur town. Vehicles are being checked by putting additional checkpoints. Not only this, security forces have also been deployed in the busy areas of the town.

On March 9, 2022, bomb blast outside the court complex

Let us tell you that earlier this year on March 9, a bomb blast took place outside the court complex in Udhampur itself. One person died in this while 13 people were injured. Sticky bombs were used in this bombing. Three people involved in the attack have been arrested. Police have expressed apprehension that sticky bombs have been used in these blasts as well.
