Chilli Price Hike : These days, due to weak arrival of red chillies in the major producing mandis of the country, there is a strong rise in its prices. The situation is that the Chilli Price Hike of red chillies is being said more to double this year as compared to last year.

Last year, the average price of red chillies was Rs 110 to 190 per kg, which has increased to Rs 210 to Rs 325 per kg this year. The new crop is expect to arrive from South India by mid-November. But due to the rainy season in September and October also, the crop will suffer tremendous damage.

Highest production of chilli

Let us tell you that the highest production of chili is in the Guntur district of Andhra Pradesh in the country. Here 30 to 40 percent chilies of the entire state are produce, but this time too the production of chilies is badly affect.

Apart from this, the cultivation of chillies is more in Telangana also, there also the yield has decreased due to outbreak of disease in this crop. Overall, there is a huge jump in the market prices of chillies due to the decline in production. Farmers can take advantage of this. At the same time, traders are still expecting more momentum, due to which they are stocking chillies.

As the domestic demand for chillies increases, so will its prices. These days, even after low yield of chilli, those farmers who have cultivated it can get a lot of profit. Apart from farmers, traders have also started stocking chillies. Since there is a long delay in the arrival of the new crop of chillies, so farmers should start selling chillies after seeing the appropriate time.
