Road Safety World Series 2022 : India vs Australia match will continue today, Know details

Road Safety World Series : India and Australia Road Safety World Series 1st semi-final was hit by rain. Because of which the match had to be stopped. India Legends won the toss and elected to bowl first. Australia Legends had scored 135 for five in 17 overs till the rain arrived.

Further play on Wednesday was not possible due to rain, so the organizers decided to start it on 29th September at 3.30 pm from where it had stopped. At the same time, the old ones of match tickets will be valid. The second semi-final match between Sri Lanka and West Indies Legends was to be played on 29 September, but now it will be held on 30 September.

India vs Australia

India Legends led by Sachin Tendulkar have been the defending champions. Three of his matches this season have been canceled due to rain. However, the two matches that the Men in Blue won were one-sided. India Legends defeated South Africa and England Legends to reach the semi-finals. Captain Tendulkar gave a glimpse of the old times during his innings against England in Dehradun.

Road Safety World Series: Second Semi-Final

The second semi-final of played between Sri Lanka and West Indies team. The performance of the Sri Lankan team in the Road Safety World Series so far has been commendable. The team finished first in the group stage, they have not lost any match so far. Sri Lanka won 4 out of 5 matches while one remained inconclusive. Tillakaratne Dilshan is the captain of Sri Lanka Legends.

Talking about West Indies Legends, this team led by Brian Lara won only 2 out of 5 matches in the group stage. But 3 matches were inconclusive, due to which the team got the same number of points as the other team.

The final match of Road Safety World Series 2022 will also be played on October 1 at Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh International Stadium in Raipur Chhattisgarh.
