Vande Bharat Express : Chhattisgarh will soon get India Fastest Train Service
Vande Bharat Express : Chhattisgarh will soon get the facility of two Vande Bharat Express trains. The work of coaching depot for Vande Bharat train has started at Bilaspur and Gondia adjoining Chhattisgarh. First train will go from Bilaspur to Delhi by Sampark Kranti route. Also, another train can go from Gondia to Jharsuguda (Odisha) via Raipur-Bilaspur.
Advantages of Vande Bharat Train
At present it is taking 18 hours to travel from Bilaspur to Delhi. But the journey from Vande Bharat to Bilaspur to Delhi can be completed in about 14 hours. Vande Bharat train going to Delhi will not come to Raipur. If Vande Bharat runs from Gondia, it will reach Jharsuguda in just 4 hours from Raipur. Right now it is taking about 6 and a half hours. This will save the time of passengers.

The project of Vande Bharat high speed trains has come on : the ground. Chhattisgarh was also included in the probable list released by the Railways. Now it is almost clear that Chhattisgarh is in a position to get two Vante Bharat trains. Because in Gondia and Bilaspur only 50-50 crores for Vande Bharat train. Recently, the CRS team of the Railways has tested the train between Durg and Jharsuguda by running it at a speed of 130 kmph. This trial was successful, but its approval from the Railways is still awaited. Vande Bharat also runs at a speed of about 130 kmph. Likely From May-June
Coaching depots will built by May-June next year and trains will start soon after that. The first train will go from Gondia to Jharsuguda via Durg, Raipur and Bilaspur. The second train will go from Bilaspur to Delhi via Sampark Kranti route.
Coaching Depot of Vande Bharat Train will be Separate
The coaching depot of Vande Bharat train will remain separate, so, no train other than Vande Bharat will kept in it. Train cleaning and necessary repairs will done at Bilaspur and Gondia Coaching Depots. From there the train will reach the station. Railway officials says that the specialty of Vande Bharat is the coming time its speed can increase from 160 to 180 kmph. The coaches of Vande Bharat train are also upgrade. The seating arrangement is slightly different, so the technical improvements will made throughout the coach.
