Multiplex Cinema Planning to Offer Cheap Tickets to Audience

Multiplex Cinema : If you often go to watch movies in multiplex cinemas, then this good news is coming out. Now you can get multiplex movie ticket for just Rs.100. Multiplex Cinema continuous flop Bollywood movies this year has raised the concerns of theater owners, film producers and distributors a lot.

Due to the flop of the films, a large number of spectators did not reach the cinema hall. For this reason, theater operators are now considering a plan to woo the audience with cheap tickets. Last month, on National Cinema Day, more than 60 lakh people had reached the cinema hall when the ticket price was Rs 75. So now planning to offer cheap movie tickets is going on.

Multiplex Cinema : What do film analysts say?

Cinema tickets in multiplexes now cost Rs 350-450 or more, depending on show timings and other factors. Film trade analysts say that it is very difficult for a common consumer to buy such expensive tickets. Theater operators and distributors can make low and medium budget movie tickets cheaper for upcoming movies. Tickets for evening and night shows are plan to made available at affordable rates. At the same time, to attract most of the youth, there are plans to give such offers on weekends as well.

50% discount on tickets

The prices of food and beverages are also expect to revise after complaints from consumers about expensive snacks in theatres. As an experiment, tickets for films like Brahmastra and Chup are sell for Rs 100 last week. Now on November 2, Ajay Devgan’s film ‘Drishyam’ is going to release and for this 50 percent discount is offer on opening day tickets from October 2. The Amitabh Bachchan-starrer Goodbye is releasing this Friday and the movie is getting a ticket of Rs 150 on its opening day.

Benefit from lower prices

He said it is not possible for big budget films to do so as they are unable to recover their costs when the ticket prices are very low.
